Bernstein reiterates bitcoin could hit $80-90k if Trump wins presidency amid Polymarket odds divergence

Analysts at Bernstein reiterated their prediction that bitcoin could reach $80,000 to $90,000 if Donald Trump wins the presidential election next month amid recent divergence in his Polymarket odds.While the analysts expect bitcoin to do well long term under either outcome, a win for Kamala Harris could see bitcoin test the $40,000 range again, they said.

    According to Cointelegraph, the decentralized lending platform Liquity recorded over $17 million in outflows within 24 hours after advising users to exit its recently launched Liquity v2 stability pool. In addition, the total value locked (TVL) of Liquity v2 fell by 18% from a historical high of $84.9 million on February 11th to $69.6 million. The Liquity v2 pool contains three tokens - Rocket Pool ETH (RETH), Wrapped Ether (WETH) and Wrapped Lido Staked Ether (WSTETH). Of these, WSTETH had an outflow amounting to approximately $11.3 million, while RETH and WETH had outflows of about $1.2 million and $4.5 million respectively. Ethereum-based liquidity staking platform Lido also notified wstETH holders to withdraw their investments from the Liquity v2 stability pool ("Earn").
