The United States and the United Kingdom refuse to sign the international artificial intelligence ethics agreement
The US Vice President strongly criticized Europe's artificial intelligence regulations as overly broad, potentially stifling innovation, and opposed viewing content review as "authoritarian censorship."
Meanwhile, according to Reuters, the UK government expressed concern about the specific wording in the agreement, pointing out that this approach is vastly different from the AI safety summit held by Britain in 2023.
Participants from over 100 countries, including government leaders, international organizations, scholars and researchers gathered in Paris on February 10th and 11th to attend an Artificial Intelligence Action Summit.
