"Federal Reserve mouthpiece" Nick Timiraos: With the CPI and PPI data for December, forecasters expect that the core PCE will increase by 0.17% in December (equivalent to an annual increase of nearly 2%), which will keep the annual rate of core PCE at 2.8%, and reduce the annualized values for six months and three months to 2.3% and 2.2% respectively.
