Tether is currently hiring artificial intelligence filmmakers, and has hired 30 employees for its AI platform in the past few months

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino recently stated in an email to Bloomberg, "Positions based on artificial intelligence, especially in the field of film production, have unique advantages that align with Tether's vision of innovation and efficiency. Scale, speed and cost are just a few examples."

Artificial Intelligence is a "key focus area" for Tether. "Organizations must adapt to this constantly changing reality and reflect it in the types of positions they seek to recruit," said Ardoino, but he declined to provide more details about the final product.

Ardoino said that Tether has a relatively lean staff configuration and has hired 30 employees focused on designing and building its AI platform over the past few months. According to online job postings, the company plans to hire filmmakers in Asia-Pacific region, Europe, Brazil, Argentina and Colombia. As previously reported, the company plans to double its total number of employees by mid-2025.

In an interview last December Ardoino stated that his company hopes to achieve profits exceeding $10 billion by end of 2024. It’s worth mentioning that this company does not release audited financial results.

Previously news revealed that Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino posted on X platform stating he will be speaking at Italy's AI Week event in May introducing Tether's Artificial Intelligence strategy centered around financial freedom focusing primarily on open source technology peer-to-peer technology privacy protection.

Ardoino says he will reveal real status quo disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence robotic technology brain-computer interfaces etc., while exploring some future scenarios obscured due “good intentions”.
