WhiteBIT Launches Visa Crypto Debit Card in Europe
WhiteBIT unveiled the WhiteBIT Nova Visa debit card in Europe, allowing users to pay for goods and services with ten different cryptocurrencies.
European cryptocurrency exchange WhiteBIT announced the launch of its Visa crypto debit card, WhiteBIT Nova, available in both virtual and physical formats. The card can also be integrated with Apple Pay for seamless contactless crypto payments.
Supported cryptocurrencies include BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, NEAR, ADA, AVAX, DOGE, the native token WhiteBIT Coin (WBT), and the stablecoin USDC. The card’s total balance is displayed in euros, with daily spending limits of €10,000 and monthly limits of €25,000.
The cards are issued by Wallester AS, a licensed member of the Visa payment network authorized to issue Visa card products and programs. Operating under Estonia’s financial regulator, Wallester ensures WhiteBIT Nova complies with EU financial standards, offering users a secure and regulated payment solution.
It’s important to note that the WhiteBIT Nova card is intended solely for purchases of goods and services. Fund transfers between cards or to bank accounts aren’t supported. The card is available to residents of 31 European countries, with the complete list provided on the crypto exchange’s website.
Just over a week ago, Floki, another cryptocurrency project, launched its own Mastercard debit card in 31 European countries, though with a different list of supported regions. Unlike Floki Card, WhiteBIT Nova is available in Ukraine, among other regions.
