Adam Back: Bitcoin's "diminishing returns" trend may break upward in the next 2-5 years
Adam Back, co-founder of Bitcoin infrastructure development company Blockstream, said in a post on X, "In my opinion, if we transition gradually into a sudden stage, the addition of new users will intensify the adoption effect, rendering the 'diminishing returns' theory ineffective and reaching the top of the S-curve, as estimated by Hal Finney (@halfin), the pioneer and first BTC recipient in January 2009, with a reachable market of 200 trillion US dollars. Bitcoin's S-curve may now enter a steeper period." Back added, "My guess is that the trend of diminishing returns in the next 2-5 years may break through upward."
