According to Spot On Chain monitoring, a giant whale has just deposited the remaining 60,079 ETH (234 million US dollars) into Bitfinex after holding it for nearly 6 years! The whale withdrew 87,085 ETH from Bitfinex in January 2019, at a price of only $153 (13.4 million US dollars). Later, the whale sent 600 ETH to Tornado Cash in 2020 and re-deposited 86,484 ETH in November 2023 and December 2024 at an average price of $3,331. If these are all trades, the whale is estimated to have made a profit of 274.8 million US dollars (20.7 times return).
