CEO of analytics platform CryptoQuant Ki Young Ju said that the upcoming Altcoyin - the season will be quite strange and difficult. In his opinion, now altcoins have practically stopped moving together with bitcoin.
The expert added that the market sentiment is good, but it lacks fresh liquidity. Bitcoin began to move away from the rest of the cryptocurrency ecosystem and are forming their own based on traditional instruments such as exchange-traded funds ( ETF ), MicroStrategy (MSTR) shares, investment funds and the like, the analyst said.
In this situation, it is impossible to ensure the connection of Bitcoin with other cryptocurrencies in one market. Ki Young Ju emphasized that only some altcoins have started to show independent trends and attract new liquidity .
According to the expert, altcoins have only two options: either they will continue to follow the first cryptocurrency, or they will have to form an ecosystem of Internet money, using stablecoins for this.
According to Ki Young Ju, investors now need to find a coin that can do one of the two and hold it on their balance sheets for the long term.
