Analyst Highlights 5 Cryptocurrencies with Potential for Appreciation by 2025
- Solana and Cardano among top picks for 2025
- XRP, HBAR adoption potential by traditional sectors
- DOGE seen as a valid investment due to Elon Musk's support
In a recent interview on the YouTube channel Altcoin Daily, Mark Yusko shared their bets on the cryptocurrency universe for next year. Among their main choices for 2025, the cryptocurrencies Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA) stand out.
Yusko also mentioned other cryptos that pique his interest, such as Ripple Labs-backed XRP, meme asset Dogecoin (DOGE), and layer-one blockchain Hedera (HBAR). Yusko enthusiastically revealed a particular affinity for Solana. “I’ve become quite partial to Solana, I have to say. I mean, the guys did a good job convincing me and, you know, fortunately we didn’t sell our last bag and it went from $13 to $240 or something like that, so it’s looking pretty good.”
Furthermore, Yusko laid out his views on potential investments in ADA, XRP, and HBAR, even though he considers them risky. He argued that such cryptocurrencies could be adopted by traditional finance firms to avoid becoming obsolete. “If I had money that I was willing to lose — because I think you can literally lose it — I might actually own some [ADA, HBAR, and XRP] because… Depending on how this ‘czar’ position and all of that plays out, I could see a world where, as a bridge to the future — meaning the holders don’t want to be displaced tomorrow — they say, ‘You know what? Okay, we’ll use XRP or we’ll use some Hedera stuff and we’ll be crypto.'”
Finally, Yusko commented on the memecoin Dogecoin, emphasizing not to underestimate the cryptocurrency that has Elon Musk as one of its biggest advocates. “Don’t bet against Elon, obviously. DOGE is probably not the dumbest thing in the world. I thought it was pretty dumb from $0 to $60 billion, so joke on me, I’m the dumb one, but either way, that’s probably it.”
