Zilliqa accelerates decentralized governance, and gZIL holders are about to take control of the future
依始2024/11/19 02:49
Zilliqa is a public chain with a sharding architecture designed to address scalability limitations found in other blockchains. Its sharding design allows concurrent chains to execute transactions in parallel, thereby increasing the overall capacity of the network. In addition to scalability, Zilliqa also provides a smart contract layer that supports the creation of smart contracts through its native programming language Scilla. The network achieves consensus on transactions and contract execution through a hybrid proof-of-work (BFT) mechanism.
On November 19th, Zilliqa announced that it will grant greater governance rights to gZIL holders. Holders will be able to control a portion of the allocation of $ZIL through decentralized governance to support project construction within the Zilliqa ecosystem. This measure will significantly increase community participation and promote rapid development of the ecosystem.
