VanEck: Solana ETF launch highly likely in 2025

The probability that kriptovalyuta Solana (SOL) will appear on the stock exchange as ETF “extremely large,” says Matthew Siegel, head of digital asset research at VanEck. He expects the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to approve more cryptocurrency-based ETFs after Donald Trump’s presidential victory.

We expect the SEC to approve more cryptocurrency products than it has in the last 4 years, and there is a good chance that an ETF based on cryptocurrencies will be available by the end of next year. Solana , is extremely large," Siegel said.

American ETF , launched in 2024

Trump's victory in the presidential election could be decisive for the approval of applications for cryptocurrencies ETF , which are currently under review by the SEC. This year, asset managers have filed to launch funds based on Solana , XRP , Litecoin and other digital assets. The decision is also awaited by index ETF , designed for trading several cryptocurrencies at once.

According to Bloomberg stock analyst Eric Balchunas, all of these issuers' orders were "options on Donald Trump to win" the US presidential race.
