In the presidential election, Republican presidential candidate and former President Trump won swing states such as North Carolina and Georgia. Trump is one step closer to the threshold of 270 votes needed to win the presidential election.

According to the Associated Press, Trump is expected to speak at the Palm Beach Convention Center in Florida, where his supporters have gathered and entered the venue. Meanwhile, Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President Harris canceled plans to speak in Washington that night.
