Polymarket pays US KOLs to promote election prediction service
According to a report by Bloomberg, Polymarket, a prediction platform, has been paying US social media KOLs to promote its election prediction business. However, the platform is actually banned from providing this service to US users, including presidential election betting. In September, Armand Saramout, Polymarket's Senior Growth Director, sought sponsorship agreements with influential people in the US. In recent weeks, several Instagram accounts with a large number of followers have posted sponsored Polymarket content with #PMPartner and #PolymarketPartner tags.
