Chairman of the Hong Kong Regulatory Technology Association: Investors may favor products related to ESG and digital assets
Chow Fung-yee, Chairman of the Hong Kong Regulatory Technology Association, said that as environmental, social and governance (ESG) becomes popular in the market, investors may favor products that are related to both ESG and digital assets. Some ETFs involving multiple asset classes will also be the target of investors, and they believe that they will help control risks. Investors lack a full understanding of the advantages of cryptocurrency assets, and their views may be negative to a certain extent. They believe that the industry needs to do more work in investor education to promote the development of this field. To encourage investors to participate in the cryptocurrency market, regulators also need to improve regulations and systems to ensure investor safety.
