Netherlands Considers Crypto Tax Reporting Bill, Seeks Stakeholder Views
The Netherlands is seeking input from stakeholders before presenting a bill on crypto tax reporting to the House of Representatives in the first half of 2025. The bill aims to increase transparency and prevent tax avoidance and evasion, according to Folkert Idsinga, State Secretary for Taxation and Tax Authorities. The country has launched a consultation on the proposed bill, which would require crypto services to share user data with tax authorities.
