199th Ethereum ACDE Meeting: Pectra Devnet 4 Launched on October 18th
Christine Kim, Vice President of Galaxy Research, summarized the 199th Ethereum Core Developer Execution (ACDE) conference call. This week, developers discussed and coordinated modifications to the Ethereum Execution Layer (EL) during the call. They once again confirmed the decision to include EIP 7742 in Pectra as a prerequisite for increasing blob capacity in the upgrade. Pectra Devnet 4 was launched on October 18th, and Busa and his team will conduct further testing on the client on Devnet 4 in the coming weeks. In addition, developers also discussed various specification changes that should be included in Pectra Devnet 5.
