On October 24th, it was reported by Cointelegraph that Cardano will release over 1.3 trillion dollars of Bitcoin liquidity to its DeFi ecosystem through a new integration with the Bitcoin smart contract platform, BitcoinOS (BOS). ZK cryptography will play a crucial role in this collaboration by providing a trustless way for BOS to integrate BTC assets onto Cardano through verified, third-party-free transactions. The BOS Grail Bridge is a key integrated component that provides a trustless connection supported by BOS's ZK BitSNARK verification protocol.
