ZetaChain: 1.5 billion ZETA tokens have been permanently anchored to the native ZetaChain network
According to an announcement from ZetaChain, in order to enhance security and decentralization, 1.5 billion ZETA tokens have been permanently anchored to the native ZetaChain network. Although ZETA can still be converted back to Ethereum as an ERC-20 token, the transfer limit is 600 million, with a total supply of 2.1 billion. This move ensures that most of the ZETAs are protected by the local network, improving overall security and laying a foundation for upcoming cross-chain integration which will facilitate universal application development across multiple blockchains.
