Sonne Finance: Willing to provide 10% of white hat bounty to hackers
According to news on May 17, Sonne Finance stated in a message to the hacker through the chain that after two days of cooperation with people in the encryption security field, it is confident that it can recover the funds stolen by the attacker from the protocol. However, doing so will be a lengthy process, and with this in mind, a bounty of 10% of the stolen funds is offered to the attackers. If an attacker falls back on the remaining 90%, consider them a white hat hacker. If the attackers do not return the funds, the collected information will be shared with relevant authorities as well as the public. The attacker has until 21:00 UTC on May 17, 2024 to do so. If you have any questions, you can contact us by email. As previously reported, on May 15, according to Pidun monitoring, Sonne Finance was hacked and the current loss exceeded US$20 million.
