PolicyGenius: More than one-fifth of young Americans own cryptocurrency
A survey by PolicyGenius shows that more than one-fifth of young people in the United States own cryptocurrency, and the frequency of investment in cryptocurrency by the younger generation is four times that of the older generation. Compared with traditional investments, the preference for cryptocurrency is highest among the 18 to 26-year-old Generation Z, with 20% of Gen Z respondents owning cryptocurrency, 18% owning stocks, 13% owning real estate, and 11% owning bonds. The frequency of investment in cryptocurrency by the millennial generation, aged 27 to 42, is slightly higher than that of Gen Z respondents, with 22% owning cryptocurrency.
