vx-underground: Malware has attacked more than 4.9 million Activision Blizzard users and their game store Battle.net accounts
The malicious software information library vx-underground posted on X platform, stating that an "unidentified threat actor" is using malicious software to steal the login and other credentials of people using paid cheat video game software. These attacks are aimed at players, including those who purchase cheat software, and have already compromised over 4.9 million Activision Blizzard user accounts and their Battle.net game store, as well as accounts for game trading website Elite PVPers and cheat software markets PhantomOverlay and UnknownCheats.
