NFPrompt responds to the attack: User assets are safe, and CEX has been contacted to freeze hacker-related funds
NFPrompt disclosed that it had suffered a hacking incident on the X platform. The hackers invaded some wallets, including the wallet of the NFP contract manager, and illegally controlled some of the victim's funds, such as the NFP treasury and ecology fund. 1. In response, the team has transferred all ownership of NFP's smart contracts to a new address, effectively cutting off the attack vector. Users' NFP and assets on our platform are safe; 2. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has intervened in the investigation, and officials have called on major CEXs to freeze any funds related to hackers. Before further notice of this incident, do not accept NFP from untrusted sources. NFP tokens related to hackers will be marked and confiscated. 3. The team has requested its partner CEXs to suspend deposits during the investigation. Similarly, it urges DEXs to temporarily stop all liquidity pool activities involving NFP tokens as a precaution; 4. In addition, the team is cooperating with Web3 security companies SlowMist and Chainalysis to monitor the hacker's on-chain activity.
