Franklin Templeton: Meme coin has “close relationship” with the blockchain network it’s on
Franklin Templeton's Dunpont stated that although Meme coins have no "intrinsic" value and are highly volatile, they have a "strong relationship" with the local network. In a brief research report re-released on Wednesday, the global asset management company used Solana-based Meme coin BONK as an example. Dunpont stated in the report, "We believe that Meme coins have a close relationship with their local network." The report also pointed out that in the fourth quarter of last year, "while the BONK price soared, the Solana network captured most of the activity of all active addresses."
