Crossmint acquires NFT payment infrastructure company Winter and launches cross-chain payment products
Golden Finance reported that enterprise blockchain platform Crossmint has acquired Winter, an NFT payment infrastructure startup supported by Y Combinator. Crossmint has not disclosed the size of the transaction, and co-founder Rodri Fernandez stated that the funding for the transaction came from cash. As part of the acquisition, Crossmint has also launched a new cross-chain payment product that allows users to purchase NFTs from any chain in a single transaction and pay with any cryptocurrency. Through Crossmint's checkout function, users can purchase NFTs on different chains in seconds and at low cost.
