The Fed may have reason to believe it can cut interest rates in May or June
Robert Pavlik, senior investment portfolio manager at Dakota Wealth, said that inflation still exists but is slowing down. After the CPI and PPI data, the PCE data did not rise as much as people feared. This is not a dramatic decline, but inflation is moving in the right direction, which gives investors some confidence to enter the stock market. This may give the Federal Reserve reason to believe that it may cut interest rates in May or June.
