FSB: Cryptocurrency, tokenization, AI are monitoring priorities
Klaas Knot, Chair of the Financial Stability Board (FSB), stated in a letter to the finance ministers of the G20 countries that cryptocurrencies, tokenization, and artificial intelligence (AI) remain a focus of the FSB's monitoring, as the committee closely watches the global financial system. It also outlined plans to release a status report on its cryptocurrency roadmap and a report on the impact of tokenization on financial stability in October. The committee, which coordinates with 24 countries, intends to report on the impact of artificial intelligence on financial stability next month.
