The UK opposition Labour Party has expressed its desire for the country to become a tokenization center, bringing more liquidity to the financial market, and promoting the work of the Bank of England in digital pound. A 28-page document called "Financing Growth" outlines the Labour Party's financial sector plan, which includes making the UK a sustainable financial center, expanding regional financial centers, and embracing financial technology innovation. A spokesperson stated in a statement that the party's tokenization and digital pound plans are welcomed by lobbying group CryptoUK.
