Finschia and Klaytn mainnet merger proposal opens for voting
On January 26th, Finschia, a public chain project under the Japanese communication giant Line, announced on social media that the voting for the merger proposal with the Korean public chain Klaytn mainnet has officially started on LINE Blockchain Scan. Users can vote by staking to validators, and the voting deadline is February 2nd, 2024 at 05:22 (UTC). As previously reported by BlockBeats on January 16th, according to official sources, Finschia and Klaytn jointly proposed a mainnet merger. The integrated blockchain will combine Ethereum (EVM) and Cosmos (CosmWasm) technologies to provide a network with compatibility and high performance. After the mainnet merger, a new integrated token will be issued (temporarily named PDT), and holders of FNSA and KLAY will be able to claim this new token.
