A swing trader who suffered a loss of 3.17 million US dollars through liquidation on January 24th, and was monitored by on-chain analyst @ai_9684xtpa, made a profit of 497,000 US dollars by shorting ETH today. Seven hours ago, the trader borrowed 6,600 ETH from Maker and sold them all at an average price of $2,230, worth $14.72 million. Later, when ETH fell, the trader bought back all the tokens at an average price of $2,208 and repaid the loan, ultimately earning a profit of $49.7 thousand.
