Vitalik Buterin: Tend to use EIP to increase calldata costs
In response to the question of whether the Ethereum block Gas limit should be increased, Vitalik Buterin replied on the X platform: "I tend to use EIP to increase the cost of calldata, maybe back to the original 68 per nonzero byte, and now we have EIP-4844 blob for data-intensive use cases, which will solve the worst-case data problem and provide more space to increase Gas limits and blob counts."
