Blockaid: Digital marketing platform Mailer Lite was attacked by phishing attacks, causing losses of more than $600,000
Web3 security and privacy company Blockaid stated that the digital marketing platform Mailer Lite has become a victim of phishing attacks, resulting in losses of over $600,000. Hackers used vulnerabilities in Mailer Lite to send seemingly legitimate emails that actually contained malicious links to wallet scam websites. The platform stated: "Users who enabled Blockaid were immediately protected. Although thousands of users connected their wallets and over $600,000 was stolen, Blockaid protected hundreds of users from losing $2.7 million."
