Cosmos Hub’s community proposal to “reduce the minimum inflation parameter to 0%” failed to pass the vote
According to The Block's report on January 23, the proposal to lower the minimum inflation parameter to 0% for the Cosmos Hub community did not pass the vote. 48.6% of validators voted against the proposal, 25% supported it, and 25.9% abstained. On January 9, Cosmos Hub has opened voting on Proposal 868. The goal of this proposal is to reduce the minimum inflation parameter from the current 7% to 0%. If this proposal is passed, once the ATOM staking ratio reaches 67%, the inflation rate will begin to trend towards 0% at a rate of 1% per year.

January 15 CPI report showed cooling inflation, while BTC ETFs recorded over $755 million in inflows
