Three senior executives from crypto custodian Qredo have resigned, including founding team member Benjamin Whitby

The Block reported that with cryptocurrency custody companies increasing their equity business value and creating utility for their tokens, Qredo has seen more departures in recent weeks. Sources said Qredo asked one of its founding team members, Benjamin Whitby, to leave. His recent position was Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.Whitby confirmed his departure to The Block, saying, "I'm sad to be asked to leave," and that he "would definitely go back" if they invited him. Whitby is still a shareholder in Qredo and has "invested since day one." In addition, Qredo's Asia-Pacific director, Dan Burke, resigned to explore other opportunities. Burke confirmed his departure, stating that his last day at Qredo was January 26th, and that Dae Lee, Qredo's Asia-Pacific sales director, will take over his role.Qredo asked Vice President of Marketing and Operations, Luis Vaello, to sign a new contract. However, sources said Vaello refused and joined the Qredo Foundation, which is dedicated to increasing the value of the QRDO token. Vaello confirmed his departure and new role, stating that he is now focused on helping Qredo Network transition to the next phase called Fusionchain.
