AltLayer announces airdrop standards and token economics
On January 17th, AltLayer announced the token economics with a total supply of 10 billion. Investors will receive 18.5% of the total allocation, Binance Launchpool will receive 5%, the team will receive 15%, strategic advisors will receive 5%, protocol development will receive 20%, the treasury will receive 21.5%, and the ecosystem and community will receive 15%. Airdrop recipients include AltLayer OG Badge NFT holders, Oh Ottie! NFT holders, Altitude event participants, qualified EigenLayer re-stakers, and Celestia stakers. The snapshot time is January 17th, 2024 at 8:00:11 (Ethereum block number 19022890).

Senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Eric Balchunas believes the SEC’s recent response to Canary’s Litecoin S-1, improves the chances that a Litecoin ETF will be approved soon. Canary Capital also filed its S-1 registration statement for Solana and XRP ETFs in October.
