R3 joins Emirates NBD Digital Asset Lab
Distributed ledger technology company R3 has joined PwC and Fireblocks as a member of the board of directors of the Digital Asset Laboratory, a testing ground for new financial technologies and digital assets established by Emirates NBD, the National Bank of the United Arab Emirates. The Digital Asset Laboratory was announced at the Dubai Fintech Summit in May 2023 with the aim of promoting and accelerating innovation in digital assets and financial services in the UAE. Within the laboratory, the National Bank of the UAE aims to collaborate with industry experts to understand how to leverage digital assets and their underlying technologies in traditional financial services.
