DOGE-funded SpaceX 'Doge-1' lunar mission receives FCC clearance

Samuel Reid, CEO of Geometric Energy Corporation, announced on X platform that the SpaceX "Doge-1" lunar mission funded by DOGE has been granted permission by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States. Earlier on November 29, the SpaceX "Doge-1" satellite, funded and named by DOGE, had been approved by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) of the United States and was seeking final approval from the FCC. It is reported that the DOGE-1 satellite was developed by the space technology company Geometric Energy Corporation, which announced the project in May 2021. The satellite will be launched by SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
